Quick Tip # 1: Update the URL of a Model-Driven App

If you have created a brand new model-driven app (powerapps) or using the existing first party Dynamics 365 app, chances are that at some point you may need to revisit the URL suffix to make the app url easy to remember. App URL can minimise additional clicks by allowing you to directly open your desired model-driven app. Generally, you would assume that you will find the URL suffix update option in the properties tab of the App Designer where you see several other app properties, however, you will notice that the URL is read-only.

You can update the URL suffix from the Settings > My Apps and then selecting ellipses (‘…‘) in your model-driven app and clicking Manage Roles.

You can now access you app using the url of the form:
https://<orgname>.crm<n>.dynamics.com/apps/<appsuffix>
